Illuminated Portugal Nuno Cardal and Pedro Dias
As a real invitation to travel, Illuminated Portugal proposes an essentially different view on this country, displayed here through a unique theme: that of evening or night lighting of cities, villages, towns, chosen more for their expressive potentialities rather than for their geographic or administrative importance.
Far from being a tourist guide, this book claims to be, from the beginning, a photographic work: a photography book, not a catalogue of monuments or an inventory of towns.
By valuing the creative potentialities of a photographic discourse thus organized, Illuminated Portugal will certainly be a surprise and a revelation.
