Illuminated Porto Nuno Cardal and Pedro Dias
The images on these pages are more than a simple record of places; they reflect a dialogue between light and the eye. From the magnificent panoramas to the characteristic alleyways, from the historic monuments steeped in memories to the boldness of contemporary design, along the various enticing routes we come upon a city of contrasts: mysteriously different in its beauty.
Made up of over 150 photographs, this project invites us to rediscover Porto, the Unvanquished, and its river, transformed by the creative vision of two photographers and their moulding of light at dusk and through the night.
